He also gave an update on the fitness of Eder Militao, after he went off on Tuesday with an injury.<\/p>\n<p>One of the criticisms of <a href=\"http:\/\/realmadrid.com\">Real Madrid<\/a> this season is that their players seem to have upped the ante in the Champions League, but have struggled to show the same vivaciousness in La Liga. Arbeloa was asked about how he intends to fire his side up for the final stages of the season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy main objective shouldn\u2019t be to motivate a Real Madrid player; they have very high standards for themselves. Yet their involvement has declined somewhat with the return of Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham from injury.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe lads have helped, they\u2019ve shown they can do it in the first team. It\u2019s one of the most positive things about this season. We\u2019ve seen they do very well, the other day with the Youth League, also with Castilla\u2026 My confidence in them will always remain intact.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Kylian Mbappe likes Mourinho and Eder Militao fitness<\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"max-width: px\">\n<p>Meanwhile it made headlines that Mbappe had liked a post on Instagram which positioned Jose Mourinho returning as the new manager of Real Madrid next season. Earlier he had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.football-espana.net\/2026\/04\/22\/arbeloa-vinicius-whistles\">reiterated the message that he was not thinking about his future in the job<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMan, no [it doesn\u2019t worry me]. I don\u2019t care mind if he likes Mourinho, Julia Roberts or whoever.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There was more concrete <a href=\"https:\/\/www.football-espana.net\/2026\/04\/22\/real-madrid-receive-first-update-after-eder-militao-limps-off-against-alaves\">concern over Eder Militao on Tuesday, after he limped off against Alaves<\/a> before half-time. There has been no update on what his injury may be.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s going to have a scan now, but it doesn\u2019t seem serious.
